ABOUT THE SHAMROCK ICEBREAKER

In 2022 a group of U9 Hockey parents in Killarney, Manitoba, Canada decided the tournament could be AMPED up & so began the "Shamrock Icebreaker!"

In 2024 the Shamrock Icebreaker became a major fundraiser for all of Killarney Minor Hockey. Bringing all Minor Hockey parents together to help with planning & executing this action packed weekend! 

An Action Packed Weekend of U9 Hockey - Break The Ice On Your Season!

• 2022 consisted of 12 teams & 3 divisions of Co-Ed Hockey. 
• 2023 consisted of 10 Co-Ed teams, 3 divisions & a Female division. 
• 2024 consisted of 16 Co-Ed teams, 4 divisions & 6 Female teams, 2 divisions. 
• 2025 consisted of 16 Co-Ed teams, 4 divisions & 8 Female teams, 4 divisions. 

We're already planning for 2026 & hoping to host 16 Co-Ed Teams - 4 Divisions & 8 Female Teams, 2 divisions.
